MIAM - Mediation Information Assessment Meeting
The Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM) is your initial appointment with a family mediator, which allows you to find out how mediation works and discuss any concerns you have, and consider what options are available for resolving the issues concerned.
MIAMS are held individually online via Zoom.
The cost of a MIAM is £125 per person for 45 min.
This will be invoiced and must be paid for prior to the appointment.
Mediation Session
Mediation sessions are charged by the hour at £125 per person, per hour.
Mediation sessions last on average for 90 mins, and involve three to six sessions.
We do not charge for emails between sessions and you are provided with a mediation summary at the end of each session.
Mediation sessions can be held on line or in person. Shuttle mediation can also be offered, where you and your ex partner are in different rooms.
This will be invoiced and must be paid for prior to the appointment.
Formal documentation
We charge for the creation of any formal paperwork, such as Parenting Plans, Memorandum of Understanding, Open Financial Summary at a rate of £125 per person, per hour.
Principal Mediation is a private practice and we do not offer mediation through public funding ( Legal Aid) or the Government voucher scheme, you may however be eligible for these.
